It is interesting that the two most important buildings in Granada's city center, as well as a few other areas of the city, are the Granada Government Museum and the Plaza de la Constitucion. These buildings were built during the period when Granada was under the rule of the Ayatollah Khomeini and were given to him by the Shah of Iran. The Ayatollah was impressed with them and then ordered their construction in Granada. Granada is a unique destination in the Arab World in that it is both a Muslim and Christian city and is now one of the most developed countries in all of the Middle East.
In addition to this history, Granada is the largest tourist attraction in the world and the people who live there are very proud of it. When you visit the city, it is important to go to the Granada Government Museum and the Plaza de la Constitucion and see the ancient structures and architecture that you can see from the inside of these two beautiful buildings. The Granada Museum has an entire gallery devoted to the history of Granada as well as one dedicated to the Spanish. The Plaza de la Constitucion has an area that contains many historical exhibits including the museum itself and a small theater where you will hear the traditional music.
There are a number of interesting things to do in Granada, but one of the most fun things to do is to spend a night out on the town. The city has one of the best night life scenes in all of the Middle East and there is something to do for everyone. You will find bars and discos and the people will drink and dance until the sun comes up. If you have never been to Granada before, it is certainly a great place to see and to experience.
